I am a plagiarist, I am a thief of words.
Nothing I say is my own
Everything I have heard before.
Not a word original.
So heed this warning:
Before you read poetry,
Before you read prose,
Check over your shoulder
Around the corner,
In the closet,
Under you bed,
Don’t think too hard or I might yank words directly from you head.
Because I am a plagiarist, I am a thief of words.
I just take the words you say and jumble them all up
So you don’t realize the words I’m reciting
Are really…………your own.

amazing, very true. I really like how you captured the feeling. It almost mad me feel wrong just reading this, wow....this is a very very very powerful piece.
However, you do know that we all are guilty of inspiration by work which can be seen as a form of Plagiarism. just my thought.

Plagiarism implies intent. A thought or group of thoughts that is seemingly regurgitated from another source is not necessarily the result of plagiarism. We, as people and particularly as artists, are constantly taking in and asimilating new information and incorporating this knowledge into our indentities. Any unintentional re-use of the information is merely an example of our inner desire to communicate and find tools of universality to do so.
